Independent Visions Art Prize Finalist!

At the start of this month I’d set myself a few goals for the year. One of them being to enter any and all competitions I came across. 
Predominantly using this as a way of firstly forcing myself to produce quality work for deadlines, but secondly and maybe more importantly, to use it as a way to boost my confidence by putting myself out there. You have to be in it to win it! As my dear dad would say!

So I found myself entering the first show I was told about by the amazing Lyne from Studio on Brunswick in Brisbane - the Independent Visions Art Prize.

Today, I discovered that I’ve been chosen as a finalist and two of my paintings will be featured in the upcoming exhibition. There are some extremely valuable prizes and judging will take place on the night of the show, I cannot wait to see who else I’m in the running with!
