Memory of English Summers

An all out exploration of colour and patterns, this glimpse into my dining room displays warmth and nostalgia. With a nod to my UK birthplace I wanted to use colours and shapes that are a reminder of where I grew up. The patterned wallpaper in my parents house and the vintage style vases my dear Nan had dotted around her home. I have both and extreme fondness of my youth paralleled with my love of my home here in Queensland.

Edges of the wooden panel are painted in a bright orange with the title and my signature on the edge.
