Midwinter Sun

This vintage coffee pot comes from an English manufacturer which my parents used to collect. I found this piece in my local Vinnie’s so I recognised the make immediately and had to have it! This painting is named after the collection.

Stripes feature frequently in my work and these are vintage tablecloths I sourced from an op shop.
I paint the everyday objects that quietly witness our lives. Through bold colour, simplified form and familiar still lifes, I transform ordinary rituals into lasting memories—celebrating the beauty of moments that often pass unnoticed.
Edges of the canvas are painted black.
