Tabletop still life

Still life is my passion, an escape from the noise and mess of motherhood. Methodical, practical, representational of my surroundings, my work offers glimpses into corners of my home.
This piece is an example of a section of my tabletop, littered with things I use frequently and a glimpse into both my daily habits and painting practice.
Painting commonly found objects which are recognisable in a contemporary style with a pop art/graphic feel. Finished with a gloss varnish to seal and enhance the gorgeous colour palette.
This painting comes with a floating frame, sanded and waxed to protect it for many years.
